Race Results
Race Winner – Ryan Savage
Fastest Race Lap – Ryan Savage 1:09.998
The last HKC race for 2015 took everyone to Milton Keynes. Thankfully the rain held off although whatever the weather, I think Ryan would have still THRASHED us all!
Worth pointing out before I get lots of emails saying you actually finished 1 place further forwards than I have put you, Tony Pendred missed Qualifying so wasn’t on the timing sheet and he started at the back for the race and made it up to 11th (good effort!). So I’ve adjusted the finishing results for everyone 11th and back.
The top three drivers were:
1- Ryan Savage
2- Nathan Willits
3- Glenn McMenamin
Congratulations Ryan for getting the maximum available points with the Pole, Race Win and Fastest Lap. Your average lap time of a 1:10.818 was outstanding and faster than most peoples fastest lap.
A smaller congratulations to Stuart McLean who was the first of the drivers over the line who were eligible for a race refund so your 50% refund is on its way. Also worth mentioning if he had raced at Red Lodge he probable would have won the championship.
Not too sure what happened to Simon Atkinson who qualified 2nd and finished last and 7 laps down and Jolyon Kimble who lost 16 places although I believe a black flag was shown…. better luck next year.
A big thank you to everyone who raced at one of the 3 races this year. We had 48 separate drivers across the 3 races. Only 4 of us though that raced at every event, although I know another 6 drivers were only kept away due to a diary clash.
Hopefully see more of you next year! The provisional dates for 2016 are already online and will hopefully be confirmed very soon.
